How to wrap foot for heel pain


  • Is there an effective way to wrap the foot for heel pain?



  • Using an elastic bandage, elevate the cleaned and dried foot. Starting from just under the ball of the foot, start the wrapping process, pulling gently as you wrap the bandage over the arch a few times. Two or three times should suffice. Next, take the bandage around the ankle and bring it to the other side of the foot and from there around the ankle again from the other side. This will form a figure 8. Repeat this no more than 3 times and then wrap the bandage around the ankle and secure it.

    Be sure not to make this wrap too tight. You need to keep blood circulation going.
