Watch a Stride Orthotic
Getting Designed
Every pair is hand designed by a master Pedorthist in Oberkechen, Germany under the watchful eye of Award Winning Podiatrist, Dietmar Walter.
Phase 1: Design
We begin design after we receive your scans + gait video + questions.
-
Review Patient Data
We analyze the unique characteristics of each patient from your quiz, gait, and scan. The notes we take go directly into the orthotic design.
Step 1
-
Adjust 3D scan for shoe type
It's essential that every scan is cleaned up to match the shape of your intended shoe.
Adjusting your foot scan width, height, and length (among others) means your foot and insole will fit perfectly in your intended shoe
Step 2
-
Manually Make Adjustments for Your Unique Needs
This is where our 50 years of experience truly comes into play. We will use your personal notes, quiz answers, and scan info to make adjustments to best help you relieve pain.
Step 3
-
Merge Foot Shape with Functional Orthotic
Proprietary Software combines your foot scan with a shape of an orthotic base chosen from 9,000 combinations based on pain areas, conditions, activity level, sport, and more.
Step 4
Satisfaction Guaranteed
Comfort or your money back - no questions asked.
98% of our customers find immediate pain relief. But if you’re still uncomfortable after two weeks, we’ll redesign and re-ship your orthotics for free. Still not satisfied? We’ll refund you 100%. Simple as that.
Phase 2: Production
Every pair is made using the latest in additive printing technology
-
Begin Printing Your Orthotics
We use the latest in additive printing technology due to the unique advantages over traditional milling methods:
- Durable - We use Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), an extremely durable yet elastic polymer which gives Stride Soles full control over rigidity and millimeter level precision.
- Zero Waste - By building up your orthotic, versus cutting down a block of plastic, we reduce waste amounts by 96% vs traditional orthotics
- Lighter - On average, Stride Soles are 30-40% lighter than traditional polypropeline orthotics.
Step 1
-
Apply Cushion and Top Layer
Standard Stride Soles come with 2MM of EVA foam under a vegan leather top layer. Each pair is hand glued onto your custom orthotic base.
Step 2
-
Sanding & Quality Assurance
No pair leaves our production facility until it is sanded and fully inspected to meet our quality standards.
Step 3
-
Boxed and Shipped
We ship world wide directly from our facility. Depending on your shipping option chosen at checkout, you can get your Stride Soles in as little as 3 business days!
