Does Stride offer the same medical quality as going to the podiatrist?
Yes! And in many ways better. Just like in the clinic, you capture a 3D foot scan, record a gait analysis, and answer key questions about your foot health. You can even request a 1:1 consultation with a member of the Stride team. All this in just 5 minutes and a fraction of the cost.
Your information is then analyzed by our podiatrists who then craft your custom orthotics, designed to alleviate your pain and improve your health.
What conditions do your orthotics help with?
Custom orthotics are a first line treatment for flat feet, plantar fasciitis, ankle instability, arthritis, pronation, supination, limb-length discrepancy, morton’s neuroma, fractured bones, patellofemoral syndrome, posterior tibialis syndrome, and many other musculoskeletal conditions.
Strides are more than just a medical treatment. Our insoles are specifically designed to prevent injury by correcting postural issues before injuries occur.
What if I don't like my orthotics?
If your orthotics aren't right, we'll remake them until they are -- at no extra cost. Still not satisfied? Return them within 180 days for a full refund.

How long do they last?
Stride insoles last 3-5 years, depending on factors like activity level and body weight.
Do I need a prescription or referral?
No. Stride orthotics are available without a prescription, but they are designed and reviewed by medical professionals, so you get clinical-grade care without needing an office visit.
Can Stride orthotics fit in any type of shoe?
It depends on the shoe. We currently make orthotics for nine shoe types as well as custom sandals. Our standard custom orthotics fits the majority of everyday shoes, with exceptions including climbing shoes and high heels.
Can I use the same orthotic in multiple pairs of shoes?
Yes, though for best performance and longevity, we recommend having multiple pairs if you switch shoes frequently or wear different types (e.g., running shoes vs. work boots).
Are Stride orthotics covered by insurance?
Stride doesn’t currently bill insurance directly, but you may be able to submit for reimbursement through your insurance plan.
We’re happy to provide documentation for that.

I am an 88 year old hiker and have been wearing orthotics for years. Buying them has been like getting a lottery ticket and I have had some good luck and, unfortunately, more bad. Stride insole's keep me in the lifestyle I need as a senior. I hike every day, and play pickleball three times a week. Even though I bought highly reviewed tennis shoes for pickleball, I developed metatarsalargia in both feet. I also had to see a foot specialist to treat a deep callous near my big toe. I was prescribed insoles in the past because of a supination in my right foot, but I struggled to replace them on time because the process of going to three different places for prescription and ordering was such a hassle. And it came with additional fees anyway. If the StrideSole orthotics last me for atleast 1.5 years I even save money compared to the prescription insole which usually needs replacement after half a year. The scanning of my feet with the app and the gait video upload was quick and easy. It works even if you don't have the latest smartphone (I used a Galaxy A10). The video shows a comparison between my old insole (9 months old) and the new one (sneaker orthotics). Although the old one is obviously worn, you can see that it's a little too long and too slim. On the day I first tried the new orthotics out I was feeling a little pain on the inside of my arch and just by sitting and wearing my sneaker the pain faded away. Quality wise, I have no complaints thus far. So why only four stars? Not for the product itself, which is solid, but because of the newsletter. I'm all up for buying things on sale and am in fact subscribed to several different newsletters, but none is as persistent as this one. It sends you not one, but several reminder emails whenever there's a sale. And sometimes they contain misleading info. Things like "70% sale" only apply if you buy in bulk, the discount on one item is far lower. This struck me as so unusual, that for a moment I had been wondering if I had fallen for a scam while my orthotics were still underway. Maybe it's me being European, maybe all US newsletters are like this, but I don't think that such a solid product should be advertised with the type of annoying persistency I would expect from an online shop for video game skins.

I’ve been suffering from bunion pain for more than 10 years. These insoles are far better than I expected. I’m used to wearing thick metatarsal pads to reduce bunion pain, so at first I thought there was not enough support. After a few days of wearing the insoles, amazingly I found that my pain is gone while walking. My knee pain is also gone. I ordered a second pair soon after so I can wear them inside the house. They pair very well with my zero drop wide toe-box shoes. Highly recommended!

I’ve been in terrible pain for over a year. I’ve tried expensive shoes, Power Step inserts, Super Feet inserts, Dr. Scholl's, physical therapy, I’ve bought two at home physical therapy devices and I’ve been to the podiatrist twice. Well pleased with these orthotics. Much more stable than my old pair on the left in the photo. Really solid but with a little flex at the edge so more comfortable as opposed to my old pair. Ordered a second set!

For someone who has had a terrible experience wearing shoes with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, I can't explain how much relief these insoles bring. Having them custom made especially for me meant they were a perfect fit both for my feet and my shoes. Now wearing my shoes is no longer a nightmare. In fact, with Stride Soles insoles, I feel like my feet are getting massaged as I walk.
I have really high arches and my feet are always sore, so finding good orthotics has always left my dissipointed. However, once I got my Stride orthotics things have changed for the better. On the good side, I really like the deep heel cup which give me support for the ball of my foot. It kinda feels like my foot is getting hugged. Hey, I just got back from a run, so i figured i'd make a quick video to thank the stride soles team.
